Gift Certificate Terms & Redemption Policy
Thank you for choosing to give the gift of care and support! Please review the following terms to understand how gift certificates can be redeemed.
1. What the Gift Certificate Covers
- Certificates are redeemable for Mommy’s Helper services (household support, meal prep, pet care, errands, light tidying, etc.).
- Certificates are sold in service credits (ex: one week, one month, or a set number of hours), not tied to a fixed calendar date.
- Every gift purchased includes a beautifully printed certificate, mailed to the purchaser or the recipient, to be presented at the baby shower.
2. Scheduling & Availability
- Best practice is to have advance appointment.
- Last minute support will be considered, based on availability.
- Due to the unpredictable nature of due dates, gift certificates are redeemable within 12 months of issue.
- Scheduling is subject to availability — early booking is strongly encouraged.
3. Priority Scheduling (Optional)
- Standard certificates are fulfilled based on next available service windows.
- For guaranteed availability within 7 days of baby’s arrival, Priority Certificates may be purchased for an additional fee.
4. Flexibility
- If services cannot begin immediately after delivery, certificates may be redeemed at any time within the 12-month window.
- Services can be taken in consecutive weeks or split into smaller increments, depending on client preference and availability.
5. Non-Refundable
- Certificates are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Certificates may be transferred to another recipient if approved in writing by Mommy’s Helper.
6. Additional Costs
Travel and/or parking expenses may apply depending on location and are billed separately at the time of service.
